When you get a minute, I have a couple of questions about my login file. 1: is the '$' character == ^[ on other systems or is it a literal '$'? It's an escape character, ASCII 33 (27.) 2: Whenever I attempt to use valrets in my login it hangs until I disown the process (see 1 :)), I could not make heads or tails from the docs on the webpage. You're doing stuff I haven't tried. Let me know how it turns out! 3: CRTSTY causes multiple logins simultaneously, is this normal? I did not see any switches to disable this function so am using aaa emulation. AAA is good enough for most stuff; there's a supdup client for Unix available too. /Paul
